i'm so jealous you got to hold a baby cub! was he cute?? the only place you can do that here is in qld at dreamworld and you need to be the first 100 entrants into the park and then you have to pay $350 to hold one. did he bite you??
i find it odd that in a feline park where they're meant to preserve the lives of tigers, they had a chair made out of tigers.... was that real?!
also please dognap one of those dogs from the wet market for me!... were they treated well? do dogs there get treated well? i start volunteer work at the rspca this thursday. kylie
The cub was sleepy when we got there, and I was the third in line to hold him. He wasnt happy by my turn but settled down once i let him sit on my knee. I dont for one minute believe the zoo will kill a tiger for the skins, but tigers do die naturally and I think they are using the skin to improve their earning power with visiting photographers. Each visitor pays RMB20 to hold a cub on the tiger skin seat. The dogs are pets of vendors in the wet market. They look happy running around.
Grace and Kheng grew up in Malaysia and China, but were educated at Yale and Cornell. Young Kristine and Kimberley were born in the US and Australia but grew up mainly in Melbourne, Australia. Kristine's and Kimberley's adventure in Beijing begins in July 2008, 10 years after their elder sister Kylie completed hers.
